Summer Events in Whatcom County

By trovecannabis | | Community

Summertime: Where flip flops go with every outfit, BBQs get a major workout, at least once every 5 minutes you’ll hear a local say “what’s that giant yellow orb in the sky?!”, and parking at any of our local parks is like a scene out of Mad Max Beyond Thunderdome.

At Trove, we feel so fortunate to serve Whatcom County residents and visitors with their cannabis needs. We love this region so much, we sing its praises at the top of our lungs – while taking a hit, of course. As champions of the area, we’d love to share some of our favorite local events to check out.

Note: If you decide to partake at any of these events, don’t forget to be a good little stoner and adhere to all public usage laws.

If you’ve got the munchies for funnel cakes and moowiches, the need for speed on a roller coaster, or want to learn all there is to know about farm animals, the Northwest Washington Fair is the place for you! With a bazillion food stands, a ton of thrilling rides, the cutest critters, and a music lineup bound to please anyone, we recommend going early so you can see/eat/hear everything!

At most of the events listed above you’ll find local artists selling their wares, buskers entertaining for tips, and non-profit organizations seeking donations. If you’re in a position to do so please support them whether it’s through monetary means or promotion. Not only will your karma get a boost, but your support could help keep food on the table, people employed, and resources available.

Happy Summer!
