Our Tips and Tricks on Coming Back to Reality When You Have To
No one wants it to happen, but whether it’s taking the wrong dose or trying a new method it’s possible to get too high. We always recommend starting small if you’re not sure what dose is best. When trying new methods to enjoy weed, do your research and ask lots of questions to make sure you are set up for success!
How do you know if you are too high?
- Feeling anxious or panicked
- Feeling panicked or confused
- Feeling sick
Stay Calm
Everything is going to be okay – it will just take some time. Find a safe and comfortable spot. Have a backyard? Even better. Do what you need to do to keep yourself calm whether it’s watching a tv, snacking, or just laying down and looking at the clouds. CBD can also be a great way to bring balance back.
Hydrate
Dry mouth is a common symptom. To help combat, keep yourself hydrated whether that is with water, sparkling water, or juice. Keep in mind that it’s best not to drink anything caffeinated.
Rest
When in doubt, sleep it out. Set yourself up with a big glass of water and say good night to the world for a few hours. When you wake up, everything should be a little more normal! Can’t fall asleep? Try talking a leisurely stroll around the block or talking a bath.
