This year, August 30th is National Holistic Pet Day. This holiday is dedicated to raising awareness towards caring for your pet’s mind, body, and soul which can lead to a longer and healthier life span.

Lucky for us, our customers have alway felt comfortable bringing in their pet friends to shop. One of our favorite visitors includes a spaniel who joyfully announces herself with a hearty howl when entering. Over the years, we’ve had many unique pet companions come through our doors including a beloved pot-bellied pig, a chatty parrot, leash-trained cats, and even a number of lizards.
Several of our employees have cute critters of their own that they bring to brighten up the place. Nothing beats seeing a happy smile or a wagging tail while you pick up your own bag of treats. You may have even been lucky enough to be greeted by our honorary employee, a Chihuahua named “Hammer” who likes to tag along in a dog carrier backpack strapped to his person. Adorable, right?
