It turns out that Delta 9 Tetrahydrocannabinol (more commonly known as the aforementioned THC) looks incredibly similar to a cannabinoid called Delta-8. With a striking family resemblance, Delta-8 differs from Delta-9 by only a slight shift in its chemical makeup. Delta-8 gets its name from its bond pattern on the 8th carbon chain (hence the 8 in its name) which differs from Delta-9 containing the same bond pattern on the 9th carbon chain. It’s amazing how different a profile it can present with such a subtle variation in chemical makeup.

What are the benefits of Delta-8?

The benefits of THC, in general, vary for each individual. Typically Delta-8 is known for its less psychoactive qualities when compared to Delta-9 THC.
